randomly considering becoming a police officer (im still in highschool) so i was just wondering what degree do i need for it in college.
And i lowkey wanna become one of those one who go on missions and stuff, not the local police
Or should i js go with cosmetology (this seemed kinda hard too)
I had a friend who wanted to be a police officer and end up in cosmetology too, she dropped out and end up doing something completely different lol
Personally I think cosmetology is a safer field to find a career in. You should definitelyy consider dermatology as well since it's pretty popular. (but yea it's definitely harder as it's mainly biology)
But if you're considering police you can get a degree in criminal justice or any law related degree. Just note you don't need a degree, you can go to a police academy just check on their requirements online.
From where I'm from, police pay is very bad so check on the pay in your country!

A criminal Justice degree might help, but also, I’m not sure where you’re located, but at least in the US, a lot of people go to the police academy after HS. A lot of police depts don’t require a college degree.

What I'm mainly seeing is Psychology/Sociology, English/language subjects and physical ed.
To note though, being a police officer takes a lot of training and prep before hand, and you'd need to do a bunch of research as well. And more often than not, you have to raise from the ranks.
Cosmetology may honestly be the better choice, especially if your confident and know ypu have a good skillset in it
