As per my understanding it mean to go somewhere daily orr (⊙…⊙ )
It’s just a verb that means ‘commutes to’ or ‘attend’.
So you could say something like- 東京から大阪に通います。I commute from Tokyo to Osaka.
Or for its other meaning you could say something like 大学に通います。I attend university.
You usually use に particle with it, and it’s a う verb (通う)
Oh and it’s doesn’t imply daily or anything, just something you do or have done

Guyss like i read this manga wayyyy backk so i only remember little bitt ita japanese and ml is blonde and mc is black hairr its like they both love each other but can't be together so ml was getting married and they make out on ml marriage day but after then they separated i guess and after some year they meet again :( i only remember thiss somebody knows about it also i think it is not based in Japan like how to explain :( sorry for my English (⊙…⊙ )
