I LOVE these characters. The fact that he was adamant about no intimate contact while he was still a minor. Other authors plsssss take notes!!
This last chapter made me realize this story started off on the completely wrong foot.
It’s just not sexy to realize Juhyeok is getting himself off to memories of him being r*ped at worst and being f*cked forcefully w/ dubious consent at best. (I guess the story is going fine if you’re into that)
It feels like the story is trying to be fluffy right after Juhyeok has been sexually assaulted and manipulated.
Not to mention, as a woman (on a team full of the opposite gender) I would be very embarrassed to have some sugar daddy be the reason our trip is all nice and fancy. It would feel like my value was reduced to being a sought after mate, rather than my actual skill as an athlete. :( I’m feeling for Juhyeok
My issue is that Juhyeok is hardly into it. He’s only enjoying it because of his omega instincts. Even in his head he’s saying that he doesn’t want this. I was really hoping that he at least thought to himself that he was enjoying it, but is too embarrassed to say it out loud. But nope, the entire sex scene he’s just saying “ouch! I don’t want to do this! It hurts! Stop!” How am I supposed to goon to ts
Exactlyyyy. I hate how his pleads for him to stop were completely ignored. So disappointing
It’s pretty unrealistic for him to just completely switch to being lovey dovey and sweet. He’s spent 20+ years of his life acting like an ass as a defense mechanism.
Him reverting back to pushing people away makes a lot of sense for his character. That’s what his brain is most comfortable doing, especially when he’s in distress.
Don’t worry guys, something will happen that snaps him out of it again.

Agreed. I thought theyd hit us with the 'he's so calm after watching the video because he know the tricks and provocations they're trying to play on him' and was surprised when he actually reacted angrily. Still, him snapping at Dan and reverting to his old ways because of this and generally the stress of the match makes sense.
MOST IMPORTANTLY, he recognized immediately that what he said to Dan was wrong
Their relationship confuses tf out of me. I guess Ilic is so stubborn that even Stockholm Syndrome can’t get him. Most people in his situation would just give in and fall in love but he’s still the same after a few decades
