i just finished the novel and i actually feel empty. that has to be one of the most heartbreaking things i've ever read. i love Talia so much and cant believe her ending was so miserable and bleak. she deserves the world and watching Varkas grieve was an experience of its own. i cant remember the exact wording but when he discovered her dead body, there was smth along the lines of "a great darkness came down and the world became grey". THE WORLD LOST ITS COLOUR AGAIN ONCE SHE DIED (╯°Д °)╯╧╧ I'm actually hysterical. and then of course the author goes on a rampage and kills of Varkas too 10 chapters later. i'm telling you that novel is made of pure despair. 10/10 don't recommend (/TДT)/ (ps the diary reading scene after her death was the most i've ever cried at a novel)
busy getting back all the manhwas i lost :<
NOVEL SPOILERS:
guys i actually cant do this anymore. ive read up to chapter 77 ish and my heart actually aches for Talia. I genuinely would have no problem with the ml (varkas) if it weren't for his reaction when Talia was missing after being captured by the wyvern and potentially dead. In this moment, the miscommunications trope just doesn't make sense. HOW WAS HE SO NONCHALANT AND EVEN DEBATING NOT TO SEND A SEARCH PARTY TO FIND TALIA?? and meanwhhile shes suffering with her legs crushed and essentially dying whilst calling out to Varkas. I love talia so much and think her character is so beautifully written to the point where she is clearly not a "perfect fl" but still portrays her struggles in such a genuine and heartfelt way. I truly want her to be happy so badly but I just can read anymore of the novel . (/TДT)/
