i just finished the novel and i actually feel empty. that has to be one of the most heartbreaking things i've ever read. i love Talia so much and cant believe her ending was so miserable and bleak. she deserves the world and watching Varkas grieve was an experience of its own. i cant remember the exact wording but when he discovered her dead body, there was smth along the lines of "a great darkness came down and the world became grey". THE WORLD LOST ITS COLOUR AGAIN ONCE SHE DIED (╯°Д °)╯╧╧ I'm actually hysterical. and then of course the author goes on a rampage and kills of Varkas too 10 chapters later. i'm telling you that novel is made of pure despair. 10/10 don't recommend (/TДT)/ (ps the diary reading scene after her death was the most i've ever cried at a novel)
Maybe it wasnt for you. The characters are deeply thought over, very complex and written in a realistic way. This isnt a fairy tail. The novel is still ongoing. There are things to come. I personally find the work very well written. It was in the tags as well that it contains angst and drama etc etc. You cant just say the work is awful and you can’t recommend it at all bc you didnt get the outcome you expected that has probably been written the same in so many other novels. Thats what makes this one so unique. Let each judge for themselves. I respect your opinion but dont prevent someone from finding out for themselves by saying such cruel things. The author of “under the oak tree” never disappoints. Yes this work and UtOT are from the same author. Ive read both novels. Her writing is immaculate.
It's not over yet. They will come back with act 4 in 2 weeks. Varkas has some powers that haven't been revealed and tbh we aren't even sure if varkas died or if that was khan's memories. Was that even thalia's body to begin with? Also why did khan that was so protective of thalia attack varkas's brother. What happened while varkas was away for 2 years? Neither of the character here is bad for the people hating(not you), they both js never conversed plus the oath making it harder for varkas but they both really loved eo. I wish for happiness for them, i wish thalis and varkas get to live with happiness that they could never afford all their lives until now
Bro what??? When did I say it was awful??? All I said was that it was the saddest thing I've ever read (A COMPLIMENT BTW- being able to evoke such strong emotions out of the reader clearly shows a high level of writing from the author). I never once insulted the author and reading more novels doesn't make you "better" than someone else- I have also read the novel of UTOT and thoroughly enjoyed it. So before we jump to conclusions and list about how others say "cruel things" let's double check the facts. When did I say ANYTHING cruel? The wording "10/10 don't recommend" is a commonly used phrase particularly on tiktok when describing an extremely sad show/ book/ manhwah etc..(eg. Banana fish) to show it was an incredible piece and will likely leave you heartbroken. If you had bothered to read properly or maybe refer back to my previous comments where IM COMPLIMENTING THE AUTHOR'S WORK you would see that the message came from shock of just finishing the novel and seeing an unexpected ending whilst actively rating it a 10/10!!!!!!! ヽ(`Д´)ノ
ugh i LUV this!!! does anyone know where to read the novel in english? pretty pleaasee ヾ(☆▽☆)
