Dang this scene was down played so much. In the light novel Ruby suffered so just more abuse, and there was a lot more that was said. The tension just wasn’t there like it was in the novel.

I don’t really understand their relationship with each other. What I do understand is that he’s a manipulative narcissist, but I’m confused. Is he infatuated with her?
