the author is trying to justify the grapists actions by past trauma and trying to depict it as justice, in no way shape or form this is justice or okay. There are many other ways to get justice for yourself, where it doesnt involve repeating a cycle.
The most agonising part is that these things do happen in real life, and 100 out of maybe 5% are able to get or seek help. Specially when it happens to men or boys they avoid seeking help because of pride and prejudice, I wanna say it is okay to reach out for help and the sooner the better.
