From what I can remember when the son that met Vlad reported his existence to The Father, the man said “It was well worth spreading his seed around.” Or something to that like. So most likely he did not care if it took or not but if it did he would collect the child if it showed any worth in his eyes. I suppose Vlad is the only illegitimate child to show any ability to invest in. At least that’s what I got from the interactions from that family.

Possibly, like I said food for thought. I honestly don’t know and am curious, also it has seemed to be a trend in the stories I’ve read of late. I’ve read at least three (please don’t ask names I can’t remember their in my read list somewhere) where the MC has turned out to be a 1/2 mythical creature of some kind that powers either have not awakened or are suppressed.
Ended abruptly and chapter 7 is trash poorly done. Mostly a cat and mouse story with a simi-happy ending

He swears he hate the Sect leader but the one time the real Flower Hero was by his side he felt so uncomfortable he was so worried and confused, but the min the Sect Leader in the FH disguise shows up he back to be feeling safe. He’s going to be so mad and confused when he finally finds out he’s been by the SL side the entire time. The SL on the other hand is going to purge the sect for the way they’ve been treating his concubine and probably punish the MC for trying to leave.
