It's a story of a gay man and his friend (who might have ADHD), stepped up as fathers for abandoned niece/daughter while navigating life as a non-traditional family in a conservative society.
It's ok no offense taken! It's actually a combination of many attributes/quirks. When those compounds, it reads like a typical undiagnosed/late diagnosed ADHD. Idk if it's explicit enough but if you had your diagnosis or happen to be familiar with neurodivergency you'd find most of Ryo's traits as pretty relatable.
To name a few from chapter 1 alone:
ryo seems to struggling with impulsivity (buying jacket using mako's lesson fund), have big goals but lacking follow through (keichi's word), seeking same comfort food all time (cooking scene), really good pattern recognition (noticing keichi atypical micro habits when he's down).
I think there are more when you took account the whole story, but I'm pretty lazy to type them all. But then again that's my personal interpretation, so take it with a grain of salt.

I wish juugo was bottom man, the gap moe as he gets wrecked by towa in that panel tho
i second this
You really wish to eliminate the only unique manga in this whole genre
It’s the same thing over and over again with you all, there is one manga with non stereotypical MC and ML and somebody will always complain that they wish it was the other way around, sub bottom how original
Jeez, chill out man. I got nothing against sub bottom really. Just wish more short dom top around that's all
Ah didn’t mean to come across as aggressive, I’m just really tired of subs always being the bottoms, this is really one of the few mangas where the sub actually tops and I wish there were more like it.
