bruh this writing is so ass. So the chairman seemed powerful enough to be able to literally commit a bunch of crimes with no one discovering it and facing no consequences for like 3 years, and yet was actually in reality dumb enough to leave behind so much damning evidence and get jailed and completed duped by everyone around him?? like make this make sense. Why was this necessary at all? It wasn't even written well or fleshed out at all. It just seems like the author made up a bunch of things for no reason, and then forced out a resolution.
I have so many problems with this
1) this was a completely unnecessary development, the story was finished and it was a great ending
2) sure if you need to continue the story, at least make it cohesive, but this plotline LITERALLY came out of nowhere. There was no development and no reasoning for it to happen literally the season start is like whiplash we go from like pure fluff to BAM hell
3) why give the grandfather plot armour? hello this is the 21rst century there's police and shit like you can't just hire thugs, kidnap and assault people. It doesn't feel real that the grandfather has this much power and control, and the gap between him and Taesung's parents is like huge like I thought they were also basically chaebols. Plus, even if they're not that rich and powerful, they def have the resources to do SOMETHING like why are they just not doing anything? WHY is everyone just not doing anything?? It's like every single character has collectively lost all of their braincells
Like if you're going to continue the story, at least do it well. But now it just feels like this story has been tainted by whatever the shit is going on rn. It's giving Love Shuttle with the random incest psychotic plot that came out of left field with the second couple. At this point, I'm convinced stories like Jinx have just made authors start writing complete rage bait cuz it drives up engagement. And what can I say it's working cuz I'm writing this whole ass paragraph
