Far better than quite a bit of hetero couples who have a child on a whim. This is an amazing manga, truly. It really shows the realities of parenthood and why being a good person is important to reach happiness. I loved it (▰˘◡˘▰)

I would say that the main villain is the Prince. But that did speed run through the secondary villains very quickly.
