The story started off rather interesting and intriguing, and the art was beautiful too. I found out there was a novel so I decided to read it. Truly one of the worst decisions I could’ve made. A truly horrible story that absolutely broke my heart into pieces. I wouldn’t let my worst enemy read this book. It is cruel and disgusting. The Duke is truly one of the worst pieces of scum I have ever seen written into a story. I have never felt so horrible for a main character as I do Leyla. Truly I wish I never stumbled upon this series. I feel sick
Like listen I feel very bad for Dan, he has it rough and feels indebted to jaekyung for giving him the money to help his grandma. But, Dan is also delusional as all hell. Jaekyung has not once treated Dan like a human, yet somehow he still developed feelings for him. Jaekyung’s red flags were as obvious as daylight bro it should not have taken Jaekyungs old f-buddy to get Dan to start realizing he’s nothing but… oh a literal f-buddy!!! Something jaekyung had literally made clear to him on countless occasions. Come on this is frustrating.

I don’t understand how someone can be treated as a sex toy, get soda poured on them, insulted, and treated like actual human garbage, and still feel bad for the person doing this to them. Am I supposed to sit here and cheer the future of their relationship? At this point I’m waiting for the second couple’s story to start developing because right now all I see is a piece of dookie and a delusional sex doll as our main couple. Either Dan gets therapy and finds someone better, or jaekyung dies I literally cannot have it any other way rn.
