genuinely reading this while eating this is a whole new level of gluttony being unlocked by this manga
i have a feeling iruma will get sent back to the human world regardless (with opera and sullivan probably fighting for him not to) and we'll see iruma grieving the netherworld + his friends and family, and we might see him deteriorate back to the point he maybe begins to question whether being human was enough for everyone to stop loving him (and either then seeing the demons come get him or him then resolving his will to keep staying strong and believing). maybe we might see some new demon features pop up (and maybe prevent his deportation or a prolonged stay in the human world) due to the fact he ate so much netherworld food. i am also interested whether he'll encounter ameris mom since im not sure if they showed how ameris parents met just to say "there were other humans" or if nishi is trying to dive even further into ameris mom and her current life after being sent back w/o her memories. if ruma does get his memories erased like ameris mom maybe we'll see him reverted to his original self but getting small flashbacks and once he does get "rescued" and azz/clara see him again he'll be in a state of somewhat amnesia but cry or something.

if you prefer to binge read like i do and prefer to cash in at a satisfying point (i.e. the end of a season or the series) LET IT MARINATE!! 200 chapters was NOT enough i let it marinate for 3 years so i could catch up after high school and it looks like ill need to wait another 3 years because it feels like the biggest arc is just starting
while i think it ultimately worked out for an alright ending i hope they dont drag the "he killed my brother for no reason" like they did in the novel. i understand it served narrative purpose showing hajuns selflessness and nayoons character but it frustrates me whenever theres long misunderstanding arcs especially because she ended up doing some reincarnation thing iirc bc she wasnt able to find out about why he did what he did in the current timeline (its been awhile since i finished the novel though so please correct me if im wrong). not saying this as a genuine "itd be better if they did this because the original served zero purpose and was bad writing" but it just hurts
I somewhat knew this will coming.. i mean, that's just how nayoon is. If she can't even grasp the situation like yeonha did then she's just like narrow-minded type of character.
And given the situation Hajun in, he still feeling like it's his responsibility to take care of thing, and he deserved to be hated... poor Hajun.. i hope he will find his own happiness...
