i keep seeing people say they think it’s a dream or he’s in a coma but think its all very real.
i think he’s in a psychiatric unit and that’s why people aren’t walking around/ it being crowded. especially since the nurse offered him her own charging cord right after he said he was going to go get one, since he probably can’t leave the unit on his own if that’s the case. also i think that the tests they still need to run may be a psych evaluation or something of the sort as they couldn’t do it well he was under the influence or unconscious. as it looks like they changed the bandaging on his wrist. i think it could also explain part of the reason nanjo seemed to be walking on eggshells around mok-yeon as well as being careful with his words like not telling mok-yeon what happened and how he got there even though he was asking. like especially at the end of the chapter both him and the nurse ignore mok-yeons pleas to be discharged and nanjo redirected the conversation making sure mok-yeon will do the tests insisting on him getting treatment before they can talk…
also at first i found it weird how he addressed the nurses first when showing up when mok-yeon is standing right there but now i think it could be that when he signed him in he may be considered his guardian… and that he’s genuinely worried about his mental state and what he may do.. or may have done so he addresses them first..
lastly the fact that mok-yeon is barefoot could be cause they don’t let you wear laced shoes in those units and be another reason he wasn’t allowed a charger since the nurse also kept it behind their station.. just a theory but i think it makes more sense then a coma/dream
