and rn the main couple is doing the deed, but i thought it was his first time (kinda disappointing, it’s not), bcs he was pretty innocent the first time i saw him. and why do they bring up the past relationship (ugh, idk why i hate this kind of plot so much) i really don’t like it that he confessed to her bcs all this time he still clung to the relationship with that noona. well, at least he doesn’t have that much experienced but i’m still kinda disappointed bcs i was waiting for their first time so much (i love the awkwardness between virgins) and i don’t really feel the butterflies anymore
i don’t wanna see felice, a very good man, end up with his rapist. rape is bad enough but felice was raped by a human — a fucking weird creature —while slowly losing consciousness and then slowly dying. what a fucked up childhood friend you are, alin. rotten in darkness
yes, this has angst. i haven’t read the novel but i read the review on ridi. it’s a reunion romance, they’ll reunite as college students. it barely has smut scenes (the first smut scene takes about 84 chapters in the novel). that’s all i know from the review and cmiiw. i also have a theory they’ll reunite once the new flower of the orchid blooms or maybe when the orchid withers, leaving only a single flower
btw, orchids are so beautiful. saying this as someone who grew up in a country with so many types of orchids, it just takes a lot of time and effort to take care of them but once they bloom it feels like all of it paid off i think their relationship or their characters are like an orchid or maybe it has something to do with the orchid that ui-tae gave to ji-eon
i’m just hoping that once they separate, they don’t have a relationship with someone
but the art is really good (twink bottom drawn properly, height difference with a top not looking like a big hulk, and cute chibis) BUT UNFORTUNATELY, WHY IS THIS A SHORT STORY? it has sm potential to be a long story
but that’s it. since i already read the author’s previous manhwa. i can sense the story is just something ordinary (well, nothing’s new bcs creativity in manhwas is rare or you can say it’s already dead)

i know charyeok and dacto are the only authors i can trust with short stories, but this one should’ve been longer
although you guys complain about brown-haired being the bottom, i just want to tell you if the black-haired were the bottom, it would be another common trope: promiscuous top and virgin bottom. tbh i still don’t like it (maybe if he had been a bottom before, i would eat this up, but unfortunately he was used to being a top) nonetheless, this is just full of cliche themes too such as childhood friends, one sided unrequited love, not knowing that the one he truly loves is in front of his eyes. is this worth the time? yeah, just an ordinary short manhwa for gooning
