i read the novel review on ridibooks there’s no chasing arc, well it’s by the same author as sweet shot. but it’s still too early to say that, and i don’t really expect this to be a good story

1. Why did I buy this... Are these people really in their 30s? Before leaving Korea, he went to the Su and forced an intimate relationship on him, then spent 10 years sleeping around and enjoying sex, only to return and coincidentally meet the Su again. It's ridiculous that now he can't get an erection unless it's with the Su. Let's not be fooled by the keywords.
2. I endured it up to volume 3, but he's not a childish Gong, he's just terrible. I'm dropping this because I'm pissed off by the Gong and frustrated to death by the Su who just takes all the abuse. The Gong kisses and almost has sex with someone else right in front of the Su. When his mind is conflicted because of the Su, he goes around tabs promiscuously with others (he says he didn't have intercourse because he couldn't get an erection, but he did everything else except that). Meanwhile, if he sees the Su getting along with someone else, he gets furious, comes over, and throws a fit. Even when he's wrong, he never drops his pride, speaks harshly, and hurts the Su. I just want to punch him. And what is wrong with the Su's personality? At this point, he's not just kind, he's a fool. Wow... regardless of how entertaining it is, this pair has the most unlikable personalities among everything I've read recently.
3. Volume 1 was really fun, but as I read volumes 2 and 3, it started to feel more and more childish... First, the Su is frustrating and too much of a pushover. And the Gong is just too immature. Even if he got the job through nepotism, looking at his phone during meetings and kicking the legs of employees he dislikes is completely incomprehensible. It looks like an abuse of power and lacks plausibility. Neither of them looks like they are in their 30s; they seem like they are in their early 20s instead. It felt a bit like reading an old internet novel.
4. I read up to volume 2 and dropped it out of anger after seeing him bring someone else into the bedroom while the Su was there. I don't understand what kind of backstory justifies him constantly spouting childish curses for no reason, and I don't care to find out any further;;;
5. As someone heavily biased toward the Su, I ultimately couldn't finish it and dropped it midway through volume 4. The author's writing is good—especially the snappy dialogues and the charming Gong—so I tried to grit my teeth and push through to the end. However, even if it's his denial phase, the Gong is infuriatingly rude and treats the Su like a beggar, while the Su consistently loves him devotedly without any push-and-pull. With this kind of development, even if the Gong acts like a fool later, it won't feel satisfying, so I dropped it. By my standards, the Su is completely the underdog emotionally and socially. Especially the part where, after being coldly rejected for the nth time, the Su gets scammed by a friend and becomes homeless, and the Gong arrogantly pays off his debt and takes him to his house. The Su just cries and thanks him without any pride, which gave me anger management issues. This is why I shouldn't even start a book that doesn't fit my taste. It’s an extreme drain of energy.
6. I want to tell the Su to take care of himself first if he has money to give to others. It feels like he doesn't need to live such a pathetic life, so I don't really understand why he lives so miserably when he isn't even in debt. As for the Gong, he abuses power, sleeps around, and even does drugs; I wonder if there's any point to a kid like him turning over a new leaf, haha. I just can't bring myself to like him. Since I couldn't relate to either the Gong or the Su, I dropped it after reading up to volume 2.
these are some of the reviews that contain spoilers

it’s really rare to see an artist drawing a twink without them looking like a child, but the story feels rushed. the chasing arc is so bad and we only got one consensual sex, the rest is just dub-con and rough force sex. instead of making a new story for jeongwoo i think the author should’ve made a new season for the backstory of jaehyeon and dohoon and how their college life would be (but i’m hoping for jeongwoo story too. he’s too hot just to be a side character)
