I dont like OG LIAI that much bc hyesung is under so much stress there thats why i dont want hyesung to meet his mother here, but i kinda get why fargo wants him to meet her. Seeing hyesung mustered the courage and swallowed his resenment, sadness and pride to give his mom one more chance is making me cry. Him asking to himself if she's gonna act like this then why did she abandon him in the first place was so sad. I like that he choose to not meet her anymore for the time being, i dont want him to blame himself and he shouldnt be made to feel guilty for hating her his whole life. He lost the mother figure in his life, but he let the kids meet her bc he didnt want them to lost their grandma figure.
Idk i've been watching him closely since the OG LIAI manhwa first debuted so all this is making me proud i feel super maternal for hyesung. Topic like abandoned child is always making me emotional i could never judge the victim in this case bc everything that theyre feeling is justified. Abandoned as a child really did a lot of damage to them mentally bc a parent figure is super crucial to a child development.
