Thanks for the heads-up. I put this on hold for awhile and this seems to have romance by now. I think I need to remove this one from my list too.

If it makes any difference, it's not a typical lovey dovey romance. They're very casual, like normal, real life, practical, adult relationships. Doesn't feel annoying. No drama (yet).

So basically yes it was taken seriously more at the current scene, Grayson really hated being forced on, but the tone has been reduced in the manhwa, but I think it's okay it's not bad but fine ig is what I thought

Actually, no they're both fucking crazy. The "rape!!!" crying is hilarious in the novel. You get to see more of his thoughts. I think the manhwa did okay. The art is throwing me off. But yeah he does think it feels so damn good, is obsessed with Dane's plump chest, and they both hit each other.

Grayson calls his dick Virginia and then later has Dane ask Virginia for forgiveness!

you're already assuming the author will not "delve into that topic" without waiting for the next chapter and I think that reason of separating irl and fiction for serious topics is why some readers cannot identify a rape coz most comments are normalizing them. I've seen others confused if it's rape or not even after reading grayson saying no and fighting for it. Whether people enjoyed it in the end like you said so you "gave zero fuck about it", it's rape. I think people who can seperate reality and fictions will definitely able to identify rape because your examples of those who cant distinguish if its rape or not r obv too young that they cant make their own judgement.

If you haven't read the novel, why are you assuming he didn't give a fuck? You have to wait for complete contexts before saying it. Just coz he wants to date Dane after does not erase how he was horrified when Dane was forcing himself on him. You have to see Grayson as a person who has a different way of thinking and how he views the world because of his partially damaged brain and his disorder. With this, you won't be asking why's.
Your giving zero fucks was born from the assumption that grayson didn't gaf when he himself verbally and physically fought not to be raped.

Its the internet and we r reading a fictional manhwa sets in omegaverse world where they try to normalize rape and the chara go into heat every month. Expecting the readers of this manhwa will be a morally straight person is wrong in the first place, i suggest spent your energy irl theres a lot of people that will be happy to have you defending them. Or you can be the spokesperson for anti-rape in fiction movements and when you reach a point where the word you spoken carries the weight of law you can force all author and artist to stop inserting rape in their works because theyre the first one to try to normalize rape.
Idk im employed so im not gonna waste any more energy here when its clear that we have different opinions about the fictions that we read. If i dont like a trope in a manhwa i will stay away from it as much as i can, im not going to tire and give myself a headache trying to convince people to have the same moral values as me.
