honestly, I love the premise of the story
a crazy love interest and its bl? call me hooked
but, my biggest issue is that this bl has too much rape/sexual assault. I feel that every arc has sa, and its not good for my mental health.
its not with the main couple, but it involves like every antagonist and the mc

I rated this story three stars, because (five chapters in) i already know that this story is average. it has a compelling plot idea, but it follows the marks of every other story. a bubbly mc that gets wooed by the silent, intimidating mL. and of course, like most other bls, this will probably just be a smut driven story with a weak storyline

I kinda love that jarn loves them both, it's very human of him. (asides that he never got rest bc of them,) it was becoming apparent to me that jarn couldn't choose just one, since he has the both of them in his heart. I dont like either of them that much, but seeing as how much jarn affected them it makes sense. it makes me sad that we couldn't see more of the aunt, but it does feel like some plot points were rushed.
also, I found it beautiful that fenrir made himself jarns heart
I was shocked when I saw the reviews after rereading this story on this site. I love this story, its sweet and its about two people who love and grow together. its a very sweet read for me since their love is so requited, that it never felt like a power imbalance or too quick (which is common in short stories.)
the visuals are beautiful, I love this artstyle and it makes me pause on each panel. I do admit that their appearances change as the story continues, but it is not in the way that excuses calling it "shotacon" (yuck).
I've dropped BL for this reason before, because some artists really do make them look a LOT younger than they did in the first chapter.
In this case, I didnt feel like our ML(? mc?) made a dramatic change from first chapter to the last chapter. Yes he got more boyish (?idk how else to call it), but I think the artist was only trying to show his naivety and purity. plus, as the story goes on, its common for the artist to find familiarity with their story and for little things to change compared to the first chapter.
I really liked this story, so maybe my judgement is skewed. but I usually go into stories blind, so maybe other readers came into this with the same expectations as the reviews. I dunno, maybe cuz I read regas (HIGHLY RECOMMEND), that his appearance doesnt phase me.
am I the only one thinking that he got raped by this guy? did i misread a chapter??? I got that impression that he was forced into bottoming, his first reaction was to post pone school bc of his fear... if it weren't exes, he wouldn't react like that...
also, I dont even want to see this guy happy. hes obviously taking advantage of this freshman.

I think that he almost got SA'ed. Cuz i remember him punching the guy and then escaped. Regardless whether he was or only almost got, it's still a scary situation to have been in, so his reaction is extremely valid and understandable tbh.

The main issue is that this is about a guy he trusted and felt extremely endeared to, so there is broken trust and everything that adds to stuff. So not just some random perverted creep, who tried to get his way with him, but actually someone he personally knew, trusted and even had feelings for.
Exactly, plus the sunbae is a guy who previously protected him from a perv, only to do the same thing to him after Hoyeon came to like and trust him, that's double the betrayal because it's not just a random stranger almost assaulting you but a friend and a crush.
