I do recommend reading, i enjoyed it, but honestly had to look over some flaws that kinda ruined the story for me in some scenes. I feel like the mc kinda overreacted a bit much sometimes, that’s one, but I do like her in general. But my biggest minus about this manhwa is honestly the “villains” of the story. Ultimately the main villains here are the crown prince and Diana, who turned their backs on Cael (the male lead). Or at least that’s how it’s portrayed. Diana’s character didn’t make any sense to me, the prince is at some point an “ally” of sorts and retains his status, but Diana is driven away in the end. Diana at the start is the heroine, a kind hearted girl with strong principles, she was blessed by god and became a saintess out of her sheer will to help the needy. The two men are in love with her, but ultimately, she chooses the crown prince. The story villainizes her for that point on. TBH I didn’t understand why at first, sure Cael is heartbroken and driven to the point of suicide cuz of heartbreak, but no one OWES you their love. Even if he loved her the most in the world, she has the right to choose and love anyone. Love isn’t something you trade at equal amount. I would even say that he wouldn’t be considered a man of healthy mind if his whole life collapses because of love. I’d even say if the mc left him as well he’d be in the same position over again. That’s one thing. The story seemed unable to keep Diana a “villain” for simply choosing the crown prince, and it started painting her as greedy, foolish, deluded, utterly naive. But then that raised many questions for me, if she was all these things, then how does that explain her character at the beginning. She receives god’s blessing because she is essentially pure hearted, she wants to help others, her character turned back on Cael after his murders out of her strong principles and mind at what’s right (regardless of the reason), how does this same person also conceal the greed and crimes of the temple. How is this person unable of even apologizing after spilling hot tea at another. Her character was portrayed as strong minded only for her to crumble immediately after marriage, her character shifted from being shown as noble to one being deluded by the praises of others. Which is what i thought it all was but then how does that explain how the two men, especially the crown prince, have made her the crown princess (which is a huge responsibility) on a girl who they never taught accountability or have even seen through her deluded state of mind. If you look deep into the characters the whole logic starts to show that they were all simply fools. The mc is shown as exceedingly smart, even the crown prince doesn’t dare punish her even when she oversteps. The story doesn’t even punish mc when Diana (the crown princess) asks her to behave herself cuz duh she’s a princess, but even when she asks of smth which should be common sense, she is painted as a villainess then. In truth the mc wasn’t exceedingly smart if you look at it as a whole, the others were just too dumb.. I have had many moments in the story where I just wondered how come the most powerful characters in the story are so helpless to something that can be slowly but surely fixed with basic reason. Anyway I ranted for a bit too long.. don’t let it discourage you from reading and I’m not saying you shouldn’t like the story cuz of it. I just tend to over analyze. The story would have been infinitely better if the villains were written or portrayed better with actual clear, sensible motives with a sensible background as to why they have gone down that path. In other words- if only the villains weren’t half assed.

Honestly it makes me so uncomfortable. There’s so much rape. Like so much. And just when I thought it came to an end, another couple I think appears, another omega that takes the place of the main omega and gets raped instead. It’s literally just rape all over the place, I read this a while ago so I don’t remember the details anymore, but just seeing it again makes me cringe. I remember the last time I read it my heart felt so heavy and tired for the second Omega. Don’t really recommend, or at least stop reading when the main couple gets together.
