Because I'm tired. I didn't read the second book but surely hope that it get better because right now, it's a wreck.
The action setting of the 1rst season really helped the plot. You had Kei with 2 powerful men that was also asshole. This give funny dialogue and really great dynamic between the 3 protagonists. And the life or death situation helped humanized mostly Zygril, and made his character a little less unbearable because it was show that he was sincerely worried about Kei atleats.
3 years and no improvment. Zygril is as much of an asshole with Kei. We don't have Schumann anymore (hope he's comeback), and that a miss because he was the only one who would tell Zygril to fuck off.
And if 100% understand where Kei is coming from it is still tiring that he has to keep his mouth shout and get degrading half the time. I did catch somewhere that the second book is supposed to upgrade their relationship and that all I can hope because right now I'm bored.
