Because I'm tired. I didn't read the second book but surely hope that it get better because right now, it's a wreck.

The action setting of the 1rst season really helped the plot. You had Kei with 2 powerful men that was also asshole. This give funny dialogue and really great dynamic between the 3 protagonists. And the life or death situation helped humanized mostly Zygril, and made his character a little less unbearable because it was show that he was sincerely worried about Kei atleats.
