I am at chap 22 and up untill earlier I had just assumed it was a romance from what I had seen people talking about on tik tok. I was watching some more clips a little after reading and i came across a few videos that were saying this is not a romance, rather just slice of life? Mind you the video and comments were from some time in 2025 and the story might not have yet started any romance.

I plan on reading and buying this series, romance or not there just is not enough pretty soft feminine guy x hot manly bada$$ girl tropes. And when there is it usally just eventually turns into a sterotypical dynamic, where the guy is in charge and the girl is a petite little thing (NOT THAT THIS IS BAD, I JUST LOVE WOMEN IN CHARGE OK!)

Ps: If anyone has any manga/hwa/hua recs where the woman is the more dominant one or manly (or a cutesy dom) and the guy is more soft and sweet and feminine. I only just read this series now, so I don't know much about it. But is there gonna ever be more volumes? Or is this the kind of story where the love stays unrequited?
I keep seeing this pop up and i was certian I had read it, then I realised I had a few years back. I wanted to know if it is a continuation from what last happened in the short story (which i honestly dont remeber) or if it is more detailed extended version of the story? it IS basically mostly rape.. imo it’s more of a stockholm syndrome thing on the ukes part. there’s like no green flags at all unless one of them decide to change but then again it doesn’t erase the fact that the two are raping mc sooo proceed with caution

I HAVENT READ UP TO WHAT SILVER GUY DID, IF ITS released yet.. , BUT I TOTALLY WILL IF IT COMES UP!! i bet he did some fucked uo shit though from what i’ve seen he was basically the guy who beat people up for their money or shtuff like that so i believe that’s a part of his sentence.
their mother is mentally unwell and so is he, but he was severely abused and neglected. his coach noticed he was good at running and basically exploited him and abused him. he got kicked out of school after violently retaliating against a student after extreme bullying. the thing is he was in love with his coach—who abandoned him after driving him to severely injure his leg. there’s a time skip in the back story where he’s working and runs into the coach again. basically what you learn is that the coach started to exploit/abuse him again for money and it caused him to break down and he cut his legs off, but it also implies he possibly raped him? they’re all mentally disturbed ngl.

ofccc!! yeah, it’s a really dark story. i honestly enjoyed it though. the male leads are both disturbed, but also have really tragic back stories. it’s complicated.

Okayyy so basically, So Lee-yeon (mc) is a tree doctor. One day, she goes into the forest to check and give treatment to a tree. While she was returning after giving treatment to the tree, she witnessed a murder.
The murderer is Kwon Chae-woo (ml). Just when she wanted to leave unnoticed, she stepped on a branch and the sound gave away that she was there. Kwon Chae-woo goes towards So Lee-yeon and tries to strangle her. Out of self defense, she swung her tree cutter??(idk what it's name is) at him. But, the guy who Kwon Chae-woo was trying to kill wasn't dead yet and he hit Kwon Chae-woo oh his head with a rock and because of the hit Kwon Chae-woo fell into a coma.
Later on, So Lee-yeon is taken into a room and her hands are tied. Turns out Kwon Chae-woo's older brother thinks that So Lee-yeon is the one responsible. So she denies it telling that it was the other guy. So, his brother tells her that until he finds the real culprit So Lee-yeon has to keep an eye on Kwon Chae-woo and make sure he doesn't leave the city they are living in , or else he's gonna make her go to jail as the culprit.
So Lee-yeon really hoped that he'd never wake up. Fast forward 2 years, he wakes up. But... he has lost his memory!! But he still has that violent way of talking and he threatened to kill her when he saw her. So, to save her life, she says that she was someone he liked- his wife.
And the story goes on showing how she starts catching feelings for him and how their relationship soon becomes twisted. Now the question is... Will Kwon Chae-woo get his memory back?
