I understand leaving things like senpai or fika since it was supposed to be in another language but why wouldn’t you translate gomena or daisuke? Also the choice to provide an t/n for those words BUT NOT OREMO? I had no idea what that meant!! Just translate it!! If you’re gonna go through the effort to provide the note anyways. Also, “sankyu”??? They said thank you!!! We don’t need you to write it out phonetically
Put on Fast Car by Tracy Chapman and think of these two, it’s the perfect song to describe them.
-“You got a fast car. I want a ticket to anywhere. Maybe we can make a deal. Maybe together we can get somewhere. Anyplace is better. Starting from zero, got nothing to lose.”
-“I got a plan to get us outta here. Been working at the convenience store”.
-“Won’t have to drive too far. Just cross the border and into the city. You and I can both get jobs. ***Finally see what it means to be living****”
-“You got a fast car. Is it fast enough so we can fly away? We gotta make a decision, leave tonight or live and die this way.”
-“See my old man’s got a problem. Live with a bottle, that’s the way it is”

Too toxic tbh and I feel like the ending would’ve been healthier and more realistic if they went their separate ways.
