there’s nothing wrong with sleeping around, nor in being a virgin, but the way the ml assumes that everyone else is sleeping around too is what makes me hate the trope. even when the mc tries explaining that it is his first time the ml cuts him off and assumes that of course he has experience, making it that much harder for the mc to explain himself.
now a trope (that I usually dislike but am here for today) we need is a good runaway arc. though first we need to put this asshole in his place (aka in jail).
I’ve always felt this but this really should have just been vol1… chs 6-7 make it feel not only complete but give the (illusion) impression that the ml has stopped working as a dom and is exclusively the mc’s… but obviously that’s not the case. and I’m not saying the ml should have to quit for him, but the way he’s so possessive over the mc comes off as hypocritical.
it wasn’t necessary at all for this to be omegaverse. the only thing it “added” is that the ml was probably in rut (unconfirmed, just my theory) … otherwise nothing else hinged on it being abo. I feel like authors are just adding verse settings to anything nowadays without it being something that is actually adding to the story…

I’ve just finished rereading and I can still remember the comment I left on ch 34. the jist of the comment: the cousin (Liam) put Sodam in legitimate danger when he left the whip marks on his neck. he knew that Sodam was in a uneven/unsafe bdsm relationship and still chose to provoke the “aggressor”. if Sodam and Hajoon’s relationship had been one of Hajoon abusing Sodam under the guise of bdsm, Sodam could have been irreparably harmed after what would be perceived as cheating.
and the asshole literally faces zero backlash from anyone after attempting to rape Sodam. his only regret is that he wasn’t able to oppress/dominate Sodam, bc surprise surprise Sodam didn’t want to be raped and had a breakdown. and sorry but given Hajoon’s personality he would have crushed Liam beyond any chance of recovery after seeing the situation and learning about it from Sodam
