I’m sorry the authors note at the end. “crimes are a no go”. what the actual fuck do you think stalking is? bc it’s a crime. sure we can logic that what the mc is doing isn’t a crime, he’s just picking up radio signals and not doing anything other than listening. but stalking sure as hell is a crime, in this specific case it would probably be difficult to actually bring this to court since “no harm” was done to the mc but that doesn’t make it not a crime.

Babe… that was their editor… the editor said it’s a no-go. The author is desperately trying to be like “well… if you look at it this way… let it be??” And finally the editor accepted it. But the editor didn’t want it to be a published work. Also, there’s stalking on both sides. So it’s a crime on a criminal x2 if we are being technical about it. That kinda cancels out imo. Both of them were fine with it. In fact, they both embraced each other’s stalking tendencies at the end. At this point, you might as well call it a kink or a fetish rather than a crime. I mean it’s now in the same category as a sex tape or audio only sex since they are together and both consenting. That’s the feeling the author was going for (hence why editor accepted it).

2. It got passed because it was consensual at the end and both were stalking each other so it “cancels out” in the eyes of the editor. Like gangster x gangster.
3. I didn’t say being stalked without your knowledge or consent is a kink. I said it being consensual at the end is practically a kink or fetish because at that point, they aren’t even stalking anymore, it’s just phone sex and sex tapes. They embraced each other’s stalking tendencies and incorporated it into their dating/sex life. That’s the definition of a kink or a fetish. My ex used to like to record us since he was in uni in another town and we didn’t get to see each other often. I’m not particularly the biggest fan but I let him on the stipulation that he’s in the video too in a recognisable way. That’s what the couple in the story did. I decided to reread everything again (except the end of side 1 and start of side 2 of the omegaverse AU) and wow I still really hate the omegaverse AU and love everything else.
*the omegaverse AU includes graphic cheating in the above mentioned chapters. plus Yoosung also fully intends to marry someone else. as much as cheating is “not as bad” (in other people’s opinions) as other things my “line” is infidelity. that’s the dealbreaker for me.
… I think there’s a lot of missing panels from several chapters… cuz there’s no other explanation of how this is so jarring in the changes in narrative… there’s also a few places mid-chapter where one or more panels is missing bc there’s the occasional half of a speech bubble or two of the images not lining up.
granted the translation doesn’t help… and the original story is probably pretty poorly written too. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
how are all these straight peoples in the side stories so freaking perceptive? his sister, mom, and best friend all figuring it out from the context clues was wild. and even if it took his family some time to come around, ultimately they were just worried about him rather than it being from a place of homophobia.
also I really liked the imagery for the mc’s best friend figuring it out, it was really cool!
personally I don’t think there’s any coming back from knowing you’re a doppelgänger. it does also make the 2nd ml look a whole lot less appealing, bc boy had a psychotic break and has 100% grafted Yesung onto the mc. but even if logically I can see that the ml hasn’t been seeing Yesung in the mc, I can’t unsee it.

so basically near the end of season 2 we learn that the reason everyone keeps thinking the mc looks like someone is bc the two mls had a tutor, named Yesung, back when they were in middle school that looked exactly like the mc. Yesung was terminally ill and asked the ml to assist him in going off of life support (assisted suicide), which caused the 2nd ml to have a psychotic break due to grief (which is also why he calls the ml a murder).
when the 2nd ml is referring to the past with the mc it’s because he has basically combined the two in his mind even though except for the exterior the mc and Yesung completely unalike each other.
as of the end of season 2 the mc is trying to come to terms with this as he has no way of knowing if the ml is seeing him or Yesung.
