This is my first time making a bad comment about a BL story, even stories that disgust me or are worst don't make me want to leave a bad comment as much as this Manhua. So the plot is very boring, the MC is boring with the typical past trauma, the ML is quite interesting but also doesn't help the story to be better, and oh yeah the Side Couple Wannabe is very weird. This Manhua does explore quite dark themes, which should be interesting because that usually makes me excited. There's grooming, pedophilia, serial killers, bullying, and others, but unfortunately that doesn't make it a good story either. I don't mind the dark things I mentioned, because I'm not a fiction moral police, but I hate this boring and bad story.
Edit: Since some people seem to have misunderstood what I meant by "typical past trauma." I'm talking about the trope in fiction, not saying these traumas are typical or insignificant in real life. A tragic backstory can still be serious and yet feel cliched or overused in fiction.
It's not the trauma itself that disgusts me. It's the way this story keeps adding more and more trauma just to make the MC look more tragic and edgy. It's just trauma porn and cheap sympathy bait, and it doesn't work on me because the writing and execution are lazy as hell.

You can absolutely enjoy the story for its plot and not the sexual content. I never said otherwise. I'm just questioning WHAT exactly is so great about the plot when so much of it feels like stacking edgy events, trauma, danger, and romance together and expecting the reader to go "OMG SO DEEP." If you actually think there's more to the plot than that, then explain it. Because "I think it's a great story" isn't an argument against someone who already read it and thought the writing was boring. You trapped yourself in your own contradiction.)

Lol, I'm not yapping. I'm presenting receipts because 'I am You' started shit with me and then blocked me when I responded. Don't jump into a situation you clearly don't know and act like you do.
"Don't like, don't read" doesn't apply when I ALREADY read the entire manhua and I'm criticizing it because I disliked the result. That's called an opinion. You're free to disagree, but don't mistake disagreeing with me for knowing what happened.

Hey, no hate at all, but it’s really not that deep.
If you don't like a story, you're totally free to critique it. But if someone disagrees, try to keep an open mind for the discussion. If they block you, it usually just means you're coming at things from completely different angles and it's time to move on. Honestly, 'I am You' handled this pretty maturely by stepping away before things escalated into a full-on argument even more.
Try not to stress over it. If getting blocked is frustrating you this much, it might be worth taking a step back, life’s too short to get worked up over online stuff.
Writing this in a comment section is just plain stupid since it's not here for it, next time talk about it with your friends if you are so mad at someone that is literally just online.
