So, apparently 'I am You' just blocked me because their sensitive ego couldn't handle getting publicly called out, which is why I'm making this new thread since"due to this user's settings you can’t reply" to their coward post anymore.

Thanks, I actually sleep very soundly knowing there’s someone out there hilariously losing their mind trying to defend this trashy story. But let’s dissect your endless blunders paragraph by paragraph, since you love rewriting history:

But here's where your argument falls apart: Being a "hater" because I dislike the story does NOT invalidate my criticism of the story. Calling out cheap trauma porn and lazy writing isn't "just blind hate," it's holding fiction to a basic standard. Just because your standards are in the gutter doesn't mean everyone else has to accept unoriginal garbage as good writing.)

You can absolutely enjoy the story for its plot and not the sexual content. I never said otherwise. I'm just questioning WHAT exactly is so great about the plot when so much of it feels like stacking edgy events, trauma, danger, and romance together and expecting the reader to go "OMG SO DEEP." If you actually think there's more to the plot than that, then explain it. Because "I think it's a great story" isn't an argument against someone who already read it and thought the writing was boring. You trapped yourself in your own contradiction.)
