This was great. Lyle is just adorable and yes, he's naive to some extent but watching him grow and discover things about himself was a pure joy.
He's been repressed for years, functioning at the will of his grandfather and the pressure to just pick an omega and get on with it. He had no joy in his sexual desires and it was purely a mechanical act. To that extent it felt like he was dead inside to begin with.
Then along comes Ash.
Ash pushes Lyle to places he wouldn't naturally go, and although he's the more dominant of the two, you do see his insecurities as well, as they nurture each other's growth.
Did he manipulate Lyle at times? Yes, however I didn't feel malice here.
Sometimes people have to be pushed to move forward, in order to find their own feet.
This was a beautiful, obsessive, passionate love between two adults, which gave me their vulnerabilities and their strengths.
I couldn't put this down. I was reading when I should have been in bed. I was totally invested in them both.
So I loved it.
That has to be Jaeil. I think Dooshik probably called him. Hoping it is and not more stress.
It’s not Jaeil
