The translation is frying me. I thought I understood it, only to realize that it doesn’t make sense. And the names keep changing, and so do the pronouns. It’s making my brain spiral.

This is so amazingly written! The characters, personalities, background, plot, social dynamics feel so real and reasonable unlike regular cardboard personalities often shown in manhwa.

I know it’s makes sense for Shuraka to have concubines, it would be historically correct. But dang, the way Tei found out and how he is processing the information is heartbreaking. The way he is second guessing himself and everything brooo..Had to put my phone down and take a walk.

Came here after recommendation, but this aint even good. How come there is misunderstanding when they talked openly about everything? Feels like it will only drag on and they will keep adding it as it goes on. Even the conversations feel weird cuz they aren’t even on the save wavelength like, ML and Mc are talking alot but they aren’t even comprehending what other person said. And that balcony scene is big no like tf.
The art is great, phenomenal, on the other hand, the story is meh. The typical toxic rich ML and the submissive innocent poor FL that is naive to the point of stupidity. And they will just go back and forth between arguments and abuse and the in the end the FL admits she is in love, while being accustomed to the abuse and gives up getting out of toxicity.
It’s kinda like exciting at the beginning chapters and the mystery and thrill were really good. But idk i just cant seem to like the good characters and protagonist. I understand its their trauma and that they are hesitant to trust but in the situation where their life are stake, they really be making really dense choices. First few were okay like not everything will be okay and mistakes make it genuine but as it progresses it’s kinda frustrating to see them. There is little to none character development. At this point, the bad guys and their actions seems more intriguing. And i hate that feeling.
