Lmao, tell me about it. I was also pissed off of her when I watched the series years ago. But you know what? I think her actions are kind of reasonable y'know? If you look at her perspective (remember the many mangas you read about childhood lovers and then a third party comes in), her story is actually quite sad. She loved Banri first before Koko did. He liked her first before he liked Koko. If you look at her perspective, it's Koko that's the third party. She had many regrets and who would not do anything because of that? Also the fact that she learns Banri liked her too. It's sad but this doesn't make the fact that Koko is also bad. Because she didn't know and Banri now likes her. There isn't really a bad guy here, just the struggles and conflicts' the problem.

Wait idk if I remember correctly but didn’t linda reject him tho? (I could be wrong I forgot ). Plus if Linda was in love with Banri, technically she’s in love with the old banri, not who he is now. I don’t think Kiko did anything wrong because she didn’t steal him from Linda, he was single, and all she did was fall in love with the new Banri. I really don’t think you could call it a third party if the two never were dating in the first place nor continued to date

No, if I remember correctly, they were going to meet up because Linda was ready to confess her feelings for him. I think she rejected him at first because she wasn't ready yet. So please scratch the part where I said "she learns Banri liked her too", lol. They were going to meet up but then Banri got into an accident that resulted to his amnesia. And I was calling Koko the third party because the two (Banri and Linda) had mutual feelings for each other. They would have dated if Banri didn't get amnesia. Also if this was in another shoujo manga, the authors make this as the trial for the two lovers or something like that - and this is what I love about Golden time; because the author showed the other person's perspective. And as I said, her loving and having a relationship with Banri doesn't make her a bad person because she doesn't know what happened.

Banri remembered his feelings for Koko when his memories came back (and the memories he made when he got the amnesia disappeared). And this just made Linda more pitiful because it only proved he loves Koko more than he loved Linda. Because while his love for Linda disappeared alongside his memories, his love for Koko never did. So basically, Linda is just a pitiful character with many regrets - well, in my opinion, that is.

Yeahhh but I don’t really pity Linda at all. She did have her own chance and spent many years with him. She rejected him once, and even if she changed her mind- things happen and you’re responsible for your own choices. That’s why you must think carefully before you decide. Not everyone will give you a second chance.
(This situation reminds me of this other story (BL) I read where a guy confessed to his friend. That friend rejected him and was scared and ran away. As he chased after his friend, a car hit him and he got amnesia. Thus completely forgetting about the love he had for his friend. The friend later regretted rejecting him now that he realized what he lost).

I still wouldn’t call Koko a third party. Even if Banri and Linda mutually like each other, that was the past. He got amnesia and it ended. Now moving on with his life, he gains new memories, new personality, and a new chance at love with someone else. Also I believe if Linda really loved him that much, wouldn’t she have tried her best to make him remember her, and stay by his side? Last I checked she only just by chance happened to meet him again at the university. Looks like she chose to move on. Koko didn’t get in between them cause they have nothing at that point. The Banri now does not love Linda, their love isn’t mutual anymore so Koko has nothing to do with getting in the way of that.

I would consider a third party person who either knows that a couple has mutual feelings between them and still gets in their way, or they don’t know but still happen to get between their mutual love. However Banri does not love Linda when Koko came into his life, so he’s free to be with someone else.

Linda blamed herself for what happened to Banri that's why she distanced herself at first. Also, Banri got to stop for a year (and missed his first year of university) because of his amnesia while Linda was forced to leave their town to study in the university. Now when she saw Banri again in college and even in the same club, she thought it was a sign that she had to grab again. I was honestly mad and pissed at that time lmao, cause I was already shipping Banri and Koko. But yeah, let's just agree to disagree lol. I feel like we won't make an understanding cause I really feel bad for Linda (8 years late, lmao). I relate to her in a sense cause from what I remember, she didn't want to be in a relationship or she didn't feel ready at the time of Banri's confession. And you can't just force yourself in one, lol.
