Not my comment but it’s bc Seongmin threatened dohun in the recent chapter saying he could do anything to Yuwon while he was drunk and he wouldn’t wake up I think

yes exactly. he told dohun that yuwon is a heavy sleeper and no matter what he does to him, he wouldn’t wake up. they had this conversation on the rooftop and remember when seongmin came back smiling? exactly.

I never switched up on him, his character is too consistent to just lie like that. i love him even more rn and he’s always been there for his wife

Isn’t this hypocritical for the readers when the male lead literally raped the mc?

Because the rape serves heavily to the plot and these two characters are emotionally attached to the hip. Now, I’m not defending rape but if you read the story carefully, you’d understand why Dohun did what he did and why everybody hates seongmin cos we all wanted at least ONE sane person around him and seongmin is predatory.

No it doesn't, the author consistently blames the uke and praises the seme for abusing and rapping the uke, this isn't to show what a toxic relationship is like... It's to satisfy a a rape fetish and that's it. The whole 'dont like it then don't read it' is so stupid, I'm allowed to complain about an awful manhwa if I want

BFFR If you can't comprehend the themes properly, you shouldn't be talking about the writing in the first place because there's a difference between a story HAVING rape in it and a story being rape FETISH content. Making it seem like it's the same thing just tells me you didn't read it properly. You can dislike it all you want but don't spread bullshit. If you think this is just rape fetishization, then I seriously question what you think "written well" means. And if you like toxic relationship stories but think this isn't well written, then I'm starting to wonder what exactly have you been reading and that's considered to be a "well-written toxic relationship".

This is the reason why rape against men isnt taken seriously enough, half of the story is the rape and there's pretty much no reason of it except for the fact the author hates the uke and likes too see him suffer which she has admitted to.

The story frames it as trauma, not indulgence and the characters are psychologically damaged, their development is literally built around that, not romanticizing the acts

Already read all of that except radio storm I was kinda bored in the middle of it so I dropped it

Just say you didn’t understand the damn story because it’s way more than that. I don’t care about what the author said but the story clearly portrayed Stockholm syndrome and suicidal tendencies very well. Not gonna sit here and defend wookyung but his character is very very nuanced
