That scene in the manga really made me think that there really was a potential romance/bond between the two. If he really died, is it for reals/permanent, like is it not possible for him to become a spirit like the mc's father? If it's not possible then that sucks :< if it's not yet shown in the novel (maybe cuz his death was a recent event?) Then maybe... just maybe... it's possible for him to revive and allow them to be together T^T

Well this is simply what i heard and the provider seemed legit and all the details. Apparently it was the fat girl. The "daughter". She teamed up with the enemy nation to get her "dad(the mcs dad) " back bc she thinks shes his actual daughter. Then she finds out about his legit daughter so she targets her and bc she and the prince become friends she kidnapped the prince and idk but he died and then the mc got super mad and got revenge for him. That was where the spoiler i read end. It didnt say anything about him coming back to life sadly. But i dont think its done. its prob not the end.

Don't drop it! I looked thought the raws and he isn't that much of a jerk as everyone's saying rn. He cares for her and they have plenty of cute moments in the future (even if his first words after seeing MC are shitty). There's gonna be some problems because of MC's insecurities tho
