I like the fresh air the author gives with this manga. Idc about what anyone eyes says about this. It's clearly set in the narration from the start that it's not going to be all cutesy couple. I usually read those cutesy types but this one really reeled me in. Maybe it's because I am myself interested in psychology but I find it enjoyable to read the plot with more complex characters. They're feeling more real that way and it's just interesting to see the plot build around it.
