I really been wanting to say this,
The MC was clearing suffering from schizophrenia (as his fear of making new friends was portrayed in the form of sihoo as an illusion) but the fact that they just introduced the real sihoo, undermined the issue calling it "a hallucination" and not providing proper therapy or treatment really is PMO. they could've used up SS2 to cultivate their relationship and his recovery journey.
