The novel had a lot more details and that was one of my favorite Riftan moments, he cares for her all night and Maxi throws up on him 2 times which is kinda disgusting but he doesn't show any sign of disgust. He even catches her vomit with his hand so she wouldn't spoil herself after taking the bath. The next day he loses his cool cause maxi is insisting she's alright and trying to get up when she's not
