omg I’m rereading this peak manwha and I just wanted to point out HOW FOKIN HOT THIS CAPTER WAS???? Like ugh from start to finish. Chanyoung helping his bf taking off his shoes, and then the both are having like SUCH cute interactions (they feel so real and couply), the hyunjin being so needy like hell yeah , and chanyoung squirting is just the cherry on top
I’m not enjoying this, but I think that’s the point??? This story needed to go through this angsty route because it follows the characters (idk if have explained myself well). for example those who are expecting a chasing arc here kinda upset me, they are not really understanding the characters
lfmao why do I explain so bad. what i mean is that btl is not following a typical yaoi manwha story structure, but rather it has created characters with complicated emotions and backgrounds, and now the author is developing the story according to that. and people who expect the chasing arc from juheon are not getting that it doesn’t make sense here
It's definitely not supposed to be enjoyable, I'll give it that. I wouldn't expect a chasing arc, especially with Juheon's current state, and agree something had to give at this point to break them out of the cycle they're stuck in. I don't have an issue with more angst or conflict; I think anyone expecting a lovey dovey chapter hasn't been reading the same story. But I also think a lot of people (myself included) are really, really tired of the "I'll push you away with sexual violence" trope and never expected this manhwa to go down that path.
Yes!! I actually couldn't have said it better, i don't think we're to be enjoying this sex scene, rather it's used to further progress the story and the character arcs, and i think that's brilliant storytelling.

The couple are so lovey-dovey, I found them sooo adorable TT. (Although the story isn’t exactly wholesome and does contain some heavy elements, it’s still really cute nonetheless, or at least for me )
