iirc, the author for a little life intended to write a story to "present a legitimate case for suicide", or something like that. I doubt that's the case here, given this creator's track record. the characters suffer and struggle, but the story develops with them striving for the lives they want to achieve, not simply presenting a gauntlet of misery and suffering to show that there's nothing to live for. yes, terrible things happen, but the intrigue of the story is partly in seeing how the characters react and adapt to those horrors and overcome them.
definitely drop the story if the topics it's dealing with are too much for you (and I don't mean that in the smug, obnoxious way some people do) and you certainly don't have to like it, but I don't really see a reason to be all doom-and-gloom about a story that's only partway through unfolding.

I read it in three days. It's really good and very sad in my opinion. Unfortunatelly it's not finished so the saddest thing is that Soubi will never come back to Ritsuka. That fact makes me want to cry.
Also I know that vol 13 came out in 2017 so I wonder will it ever appear here? I believe last chapters here are from 2016 so it can't be that, right?

i don't remember much, that was almost one year ago and my memory is really bad sorry. i only remember soubi left with with seimei and that seimei was very abusive or sth like that. but in the meanwhile probably a lot of things happened.
