Okay, this story is honestly just okay—nothing mind-blowing, nothing terrible, just sitting comfortably in the “meh, I’ll finish it anyway” category. But I’ll give it credit for trying something new. A female alpha and a male omega? That’s a rare combination, at least from what I’ve read.
Now, the problem is that my medical student brain decided to clock in while I was reading. Like, excuse me… what do you mean the female alpha has a dick? Man, my anatomy textbook is crying in the corner and my brain has officially submitted its resignation. But then again, this is fiction, where vampires exist, people smell emotions, and destiny apparently has a stronger grip than common sense—so sure, let’s just go with it.
And can we PLEASE talk about Korean manhwa writers and their obsession with childhood connections? Why does every couple have to meet when they’re five years old? Are there no adults capable of falling in love without a kindergarten flashback? Come on, writers, I’m begging you—give us something new. Let two random strangers meet at a grocery store or something.
Overall, it’s not toxic, the pacing is slow, and the story is decent enough. It’s definitely an average read. If you’re looking for something a little different in the omegaverse world, go ahead and give it a try. Just don’t expect your mind to be blown
I came for the plot, stayed to argue with the biology.
This is, without a doubt, one of the best stories I have ever read. This is what a truly well-written fantasy story looks like. Until the very end, the characters struggle to completely trust each other, and even when they are forced to, that uncertainty and tension remain. It makes their relationship feel incredibly real and complex.
What I loved most about this story is how deeply human it feels. It portrays emotions, flaws, fears, and selfish desires in a way that many stories fail to do. There were so many moments where I felt frustrated and stressed while reading, but at the same time, I could understand why each character made the choices they did. Every character in this manhwa has their own motivations and reasons behind their actions.
That’s what makes the story feel so realistic—people are not completely good or completely evil. No one is purely black or white; everyone exists somewhere in shades of grey, and it all depends on which shade they fall into.
Also, I just have a feeling that the female lead might become a vampire someday. It’s just a theory, but I feel like the story is hinting toward it.
Overall, this story is an absolute masterpiece. If you haven’t read it yet, you are genuinely missing out on something incredible. It is emotional, complex, beautifully written, and completely worth your time.
My rating: 1000/10.
It’s a good story, but I really wish it had been longer. A longer version would have made the characters’ development and their relationship much more believable. I mean, what do you mean the uke just casually forgives the seme after everything he did? And the seme suddenly develops feelings right after sharing his backstory? It felt a little rushed and could have been explored much better.
Despite that, it was still a great read. Also, can we talk about the dog ghost at the end? It was so adorable yet so heartbreaking at the same time. Thinking about it makes me emotional. It was such a cute little detail that added a bittersweet touch to the story.
It’s a good story, although I think there were too many intimate scenes which make the story less impacful . But more than anything, it made me realize just how painful it must be to let go of the person you love the most. If I ever found myself in such a situation, I honestly don’t know how I would be able to move on. I’m really weak when it comes to stories like these.
Just thinking about it makes my chest feel heavy—one day, you’re living a happy life with someone you love, and the next day, they’re gone from your life forever. The thought that you’ll never get to see them, talk to them, or share moments with them again is terrifying.
I truly hope no one has to experience that kind of heartbreak. It’s such a painful and overwhelming feeling to even imagine.
This is genuinely such a good story. I honestly don't understand why it isn't as popular as other manhuas because it truly deserves more recognition. It was an enjoyable read from beginning to end. I absolutely loved the second couple and really hope we get some side stories focusing on them because I need to see more of their relationship.
The main couple was adorable as well and easily became one of my favorites. Their chemistry, the beautiful art style, and the well-written story made the whole experience so enjoyable. It’s a fun, heartwarming read and definitely worth checking out.
OMG, the last chapter was so damn embarrassing. I was literally like, “What the hell just happened?” They were being intimate while the camera was still on, and the secondhand embarrassment was unreal. I couldn't believe they actually let that happen. It was such a chaotic and awkward moment that had me cringing so hard.
Honestly, it was a cute and enjoyable story. There wasn't anything particularly groundbreaking about it, as I have read similar stories with different twists and turns before. However, it makes for a refreshing read, especially if you're tired of all the dark romances out there. Both the main characters are genuine green flags, which made their relationship wholesome and heartwarming. Overall, it's a good, comforting read. I would give it an 8/10.
Ps. Korean manwa writer are really into we met during our childhood trip sooo damnn much and here we get to see that too

I am traumatized for the babies. They have to see that shit just after their birth
