Well, considering the fact that they are indeed close friends and since they were friends since highschool and had a history of hanging out in that cafe for who knows how many times. I think it's pretty understandable that she would think that caption was referring to her but in a friendly way like "even if the cafe closes they will still be friends" that kind of interpretation bcs despite her having that unrequited love/crush whatevs she still thinks they're friends or more likely she still thinks that he sees her as a close friend that he shared great memories with since highschool.
