Just to let everybody know but this is a BL centered website, please don’t be too surprised when you’re reading something that’s referencing BL even if what you’re reading is not.

If you’re upset about reading a comment you dislike because it isn’t the type of media you’d want related to what you’re reading then please change websites. It’s like reading Omniscient Reader fanfic on AO3 and being upset the writer is shipping Kim Dokja with Yoo Joonghyuk, I’m not sure what you expected but if you wanted straight fanfic then maybe don’t go to one of the gayest websites.

This is just average fandom behavior from someone who’s in the BL section of the fanbase. This website is HEAVILY BL centered and this is a website where people feel comfortable to comment stuff like this BECAUSE of what type of website this is centered around. I would not have made that comment if it were on any other website for that very reason, which is why I highly suggest you either ignore these types of comments or choose a different website.

And nothing what I said was problematic because I am talking about Fictional Fantasy men that are all of consenting age; it would’ve been a different story if the author themselves told us that they didn’t enjoy it, but from what I can tell that isn’t the case. (Plus I didn’t even say anything graphic just a little bit crude haha)

How you ever seen hetero readers making comments on bl comics here? No, right ? And even if they do they get chewed by the fandom for shipping straight characters. Same applies here and I didn't saying anything about not shipping the characters, it's just that some thoughts are better kept to urself because not everyone reading this are yaoi lovers since its not even yaoi

What I’m trying to say is that if you didn’t want to see any BL comments (even if what you’re reading isn’t BL) then probably don’t read from a website that is majorly BL, and YES the majority of people who read here are yaoi lovers, and YES Mangago is more BL centered BECAUSE of the vast majority of BL readers making it like that; you can quite literally count like 42 yaois on homepage.

Mangago is an area that’s safe for comments like these, unlike on other websites! If I did comment something like this on any other website that would be unfair and distasteful to the other person who’s probably just trying to read Martial Arts slop. We are quite literally on the side of media that’s chill with stuff like this ヾ(☆▽☆)

Some other examples of Non-BL Manwhas that do get talked about in a BL manner are, Omniscient Reader, Trash of the Count’s Family, The S classes that I raised, Get Dropped into a Ghost Story and Still Gotta Work, etc.

So yes, I recognize that you and Minidonuts are both Yaoi lovers (which is why you guys are on this website specifically), and yes Mangago has all different types of genres because it IS a manga site, but saying it’s not BL centered isn’t correct. In fact most people who first interact with Mangago usually assume it’s yaoi and yuri only and usually leave the website immediately after, while others who actually stick around sometimes only find out later that Mangago has other genres. There’s literally a Reddit discussion post about how people are happy that there’s a website like Mangago where they can freely enjoy chatting with other BL lovers and enjoy niche yaois while still getting other diverse genres.
