FINALLY FREE! i finished reading this after days and i trusted the fuckers who said this isn’t draggy when in fact IT IS! i finished this because i have a personal oath to always finish a book i started. i know that this is a political manhwa first, revenge plot second, and then romance comes last.
but bruhhhh, they really dont have chemistry at ALL. there’s also a part that (i think) the ml did not appear for 20 chapters that i almost forgot he’s part of the story. the fl is smart, i’ll give her that. but she’s such a dumb ass. i really hate push and pull characters and the fls who tries to push the ml to another woman because she thinks that what he’d want despite the ml never showing an ounce of romantic attention to another woman.
she’s smart politically but there are parts that she looks dumb. the latter part of the story (the last 50 chaps) are nothing but a way to drag out the story. there’s no good reason for it to drag until 230 chapters. you can’t even feel bad for the death of their allies because you’re just tired from all the bullshit the author keeps on adding. als the end of lawrence is so fucking anticlimactic. the emperor’s fate is more satisfying.
this a 4/10 manhwa and this is me being generous.
