I love this ss2. I thought this new character is to make the lead couple’s love stronger. Like, if doyeon really had a crush on yiyong, it would make director kang realize that his love for yiyong is stronger than he thought. But, dughhh it goes downhill.

I think director Kang would either ways, either way if Doyeon really liked Yiyoung or not. But I’m glad he didn’t like Yiyoung cause I hate third parties.

Aaaand then I find out Doyeon/brown haired likes Kang and I’m just facepalming. Someone take Doyeon!!

If you really love this story and want to know more detail read the novel version. It’s called How To Survive As A Villain. Everything will be very detailed since there are a lot of scenes were cut here.

I usually read the novel first but I didn't for this one, I do want to read it but I don't feel like starting from the biggening, have any idea what chaptre I should pick it up from?

Yeah, especially the scenes where Yu An was captured by that general. In manga it was showed only around 20% of what really happened

Start from Chapter 80 (when YuAn surrendered his throne) or Chapter 105 (when YuAn saved HeQing in the mountain) if you start with any further chapter you will miss important scenes.
