I have that same foot condition and have never seen a piece of media mention it before so I think it’s really cool that this author incorporated a lesser known condition that could affect an professional player’s athleticism! I feel for Jung-woo since recovery time was also a reason for me not going through with the surgery. A year of not being able to have your full mobility is a long time even as someone who doesn’t partake in sports.
I was reading “Guiding the Illusion” and there were 3 versions of chapter 1. Myth Toons and Kaizen Scans uploaded over the original scan team. I just think it’s so disgusting that we keep seeing these “scan teams” that use machine/AI translations and put up ridiculous paywalls on their websites. They’re able to churn out poor quality translations faster than actual scan teams and try to snipe their series to make even more money. Is there anything we can do to stop these cash grabbers? People shouldn’t be putting pirated works behind crazy paywalls. If you’re paying for these awful machine/AI translations, you might as well pay the original authors. If this keeps happening, we’ll lose more and more actual scanlators who care about the series they’re translating and the community.
This is just getting ridiculous, and I already thought the standards of these AI “translation” groups were bad
