I was reading “Guiding the Illusion” and there were 3 versions of chapter 1. Myth Toons and Kaizen Scans uploaded over the original scan team. I just think it’s so disgusting that we keep seeing these “scan teams” that use machine/AI translations and put up ridiculous paywalls on their websites. They’re able to churn out poor quality translations faster than actual scan teams and try to snipe their series to make even more money. Is there anything we can do to stop these cash grabbers? People shouldn’t be putting pirated works behind crazy paywalls. If you’re paying for these awful machine/AI translations, you might as well pay the original authors. If this keeps happening, we’ll lose more and more actual scanlators who care about the series they’re translating and the community.
Fro what I understand it's already partially recovered (if you had tagged or rated mangas), otherwise it's indefinitely lost.
Can someone share the link where they update us about that, please? I never know where to find these posts
