Please tell me it gets better.

I personally don't understand the age dynamics. No one in the story cares either. Fl got married as a minor to a man in thirties(just because she looked like his ex wife) but they paint the man as a good person because he gave a better life to fl. Yes, she got married to a high ranking noble but a child can't be a Duchess.
I don't like any of the children. There isn't a big age gap but they are given freedom to act childish while fl isn't.
And the fl is a good character but very boring to read. Currently, plot seems very plain.

(I think read this with high expectations because I heard so many good reviews)

Omg I had so much fun reading this. I couldn't read this infront my family because I was laughing out loud

Despite this there were some things I did not like.
Firstly, there are no neutral characters everyone is either on crown prince side(good) or other prince side(evil). I there should be a few neutral characters to give balance and to be more realistic.
Also, this follows classist tropes just like other manhwas in this genre. It's not remarried empress level but it is there. Very subtle but yeah present
And in my opinion I didn't like how mellissa situation got solved. She was a annoying character but her background story was good. Sending her back to temple was just a way for author to not deal with her character any longer. I don't think we will ever see her again

But comedy was so good. Prince and his notes might be the funniest thing I have seen. The story follows tropes and cliches but isn't predictable.
I honestly didn't expect crown prince and marquess to be same person when it was so obvious(I only learned this when it was shown from his pov)
And characters are all likeable. And romance is very cute.(All the contract relationship jokes were so damn funny)

You are still telling me that I am not reading a BL

In_your_mind created a topic of Winterfield

Everyone should read the novel, it's honestly very good. I just think it can be a little tiring to read at once(not that plot heavy, but feels as so) but other than great.

After reading 25 chapters in a day, I read the novel and came back for ch26. (Currently on volume 4)
Before reading the novel, I didn't pay much attention to the art but omg I was so surprised to see the character designs. They exceeded all my expectations. The artist really went above and beyond. I had forgotten most of their faces so this was a pleasant suprise.
(I personally am liking manhwa more than the novel)

Damn marylin looks good
(No more of the horse curse )

Even though this plot seems very typical I have never read a yoai with this concept
I am really liking the main characters and thier dynamics.. Writing is fun as well

In_your_mind followed question about question

So, I've been thinking about different YAOI tropes that doesn't fly with me. You know, the rapey, non-con, violent, and unhealthy stuff, etc. But also another trope I feel like I see very often: incest. Now, I try to avoid being judgmental. I don't always succeed, but I do try. And it got me thinking, why do I actually dislike incest-stories? ......

Surprisingly a fun read

But I don't think I would have remembered half of the plot if I didn't binge read.

Literally one of the best short story I have read
Author thought out every single details. Subverse and Omegaverse together is already so fun(what will society think of my reading list)

All the characters are well developed and have a life out of main characters. And there are so many unique things - double pregnancy, dynamic psychiatrist, and simply variety of genders shown
Though I don't like how they gave character development to that shitty co-worker

In_your_mind created a topic of Monochrome Rumor

The whole Jaeha thing was so unsatisfactory. I didn't read more than 100 chapters to get such an anticlimactic solution.
The author could have been a little creative

I feel like the story is going to end soon as problems are finally being resolved. I had so much higher expectations.
I feel as though the ending is going to be mc retiring and living happily with ml and his sister Else continuing an idol either secretly dating or revealing and being accepted by netizens
(Pls suprise me author)
I also really wanted another acting job arc but I don't think thats happening.

Finished the main story(novel) now where do I find the side stories. Please help me. Naver refuses to work
I can't even find mtl

As for the main story, I can't express how good it is. It sits at right around debut and die(the og) level. I got so attached to all the characters. The pacing and writing is wonderful. There is barely any discontinuity. I honestly don't have anything to complain about.
I cried and laughed out loud while reading this ,and any story that evokes such emotions is always memorable.
I learn't a lot form the characters

Y'all, I'm bored of uploading.
I'm burnt out.
I still love/read/watch BL but I can’t bring myself to engage with ppl who don’t
know the difference between yaoi &
shounen-ai.
Or worse, ppl who don’t understand what fiction is.
Don’t worry, I’ll continue to update
whatever stories I’ve been uploading.
I’m just not gonna take up “new” stories rn.

I read the manhwa, thought it was perfect then ran to read the novel which was actually the definition of PERFECTION. Now manhwa can't compete with it (I completed all the 500 available chapters in a week)

I don't think the art style suits the story. It's a little too bright and saturated imo. The character designs isn't how I imagine the members. The story is very much compressed.
This doesn't mean manhwa isn't great, it is but novel is next level

In_your_mind created a topic of Missing Love

I reread this after a while from ch1. I usually cry over smallest inconvenience but I didn't even cry once while reading this, and that is so disgusting. This story was written to make the readers have a mental breakdown and be disturbed but I found it strangely comforting. Three people in love doing anything to be saved. They sacrifice themselves just to survive. Geom's struggle to live and not die was wonderfully expressed.
I had to keep reminding myself this is fiction but I know someone out there is going through something similar.
I still don't understand the plot fully and the politics revolving it but that's for second re-reading. I know this was a happy ending but I am not satisfied. They deserved different. I wouldn't have minded a bitter sweet ending, that would have suited the story more but I am glad they ended up together.
I hate this story but I will always remember this read.
