if you like strong female leads then absolutely /run/ from this one ngl.
I've been keeping up with this since roughly chapter 1 (mostly out of obligation to keep going) but the female lead doesn't get any better.
She cries a lot, is always protected by the male lead and never stands up for herself (even in the latest chapter she's being saved by him!), doesn't even use her knowledge of the story to do anything meaningful, etc. You're better off reading something like The Villainess Reverses the Hourglass tbh because that has the very definition of a strong female lead
I also only stand strong female lead but this chick is an exception, tho she cries alot she had her reason and that was her favourite character never had a happy ending on top of that he had such a fcking miserable past I can feel her pain since I also have a character that a loved to much end up dying like BOI! I cried for 2weeks

I completely agree with what you said I just couldn’t put it to words. Usually I HATE fls that are always crying and being useless. But she’s not crying for herself and I find that appealing. Bc even I cried when she was crying bc I felt the pain she felt for him (if that makes sense)

If u don’t mind sharing which character ended up dying that made you cry. Bc usually I don’t read anything with characters actually dying unless they were insignificant to the story and didn’t have the capability of making me cry. Usually I either see ppl split apart. I tend to stay away from main characters dying bc it will break my heart but now I’m kinda curious. Maybe just in the mood for a good cry sesh.

Np! I always look for strong and entertaining female leads and while this one started off promising there's only so much I can take of a passive main character lmao. I understand she's crying over how pitiful the male lead is, as other comments have suggested, but ngl that doesn't make her very appealing to me as she gets nothing constructive done in the story and really doesn't deserve to be called a "main character". Side character? Sure. Love interest? Also sure. Might as well call the male love interest the main lead bc it sure as hell feels like he is lol
And indeed Aria is such a queen!!! She's honestly a god-tier female character and the fact that she's the main character of her series only makes that more evident lol. Glad to see another reader of the manga and it sounds like you're enjoying it to boot :Dc I've read the novel for that one and I can honestly say she stays consistently a queen through the duration of her story which is just,,, the honest best (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

I like strong fls too, but this one is a change of pace; too much strong fls can be boring. Also, *ahem* yandere villainous ml is a plus :3
Where she cries and lacks the ml makes up for it. He's really interesting and has a tragic backstory.i read for him
