Thank God this was cancelled, why the hell would a Korean person, born and raised in Korea, who probably has never even met a native person, much less black people, think of a story set in the AMERICAN CIVIL WAR as a back drop for a fucking BL. The more i think about it the more ludicrous it sounds. I appreciate the author’s decision to cancel it, it seems like they were genuinely apologetic, but my God how they even thought they had to the range for this is beyond me.
Authors like JAXX can still write about those real-life events... if they were treated in a respectful and non-offensive way, that is.
Idk why JAXX thought it was a good idea to use real-life events and slave x master trope in bl when we should not treat it as one. It is NEVER okay to make it like its fiction, its fucked up that she's aware she isn't educated enough to know the full history of slavery yet chose to use those topics like it's fiction... I'm not mad at them, just gen disappointed. I hope they learn from their mistake..

Wow it is so refreshing to read a BL with an actual plot, interesting characters, twists and turns with good smut (but not only smut) instead of the usual brain rotting yaoi slop… which i appreciate from time to time wow i am actually interested in where this story is going
