A grown woman writing a highly questionable love story between a sensitive topic who is "master" and his "slave," and she doesn't do the bare minimum, which is research the historical period she wants to portray (this story is so historically inaccurate that even a high school student could portray it better; she took NO care whatsoever). People are angry, and rightly so; she deserves to suffer the consequences and come to her senses.

It was always there. I discovered this manwha under the yaoi tag when it came out originally. It managed to climb the ranks and get onto page 1 of the popularity under yaoi pretty quickly. It was actually within the top 5 (I believe it was even number 1 at some point) for quite some time.

And as long as there are explicit gay sex scenes, it would be considered yaoi. There can be multiple genres within one story.

From what I know the Holy Trinity people often referred to is ORV, TCF & S-Classes That I Raised. Not saying this doesn't deserve, more like these 3 novels were published around the same time (can be considered as the same gen).

I guess GSGW can be added as the NEW Holy Trinity (where it can be ranked with newer novels of the same published date?). I LOVE ALL THESE NOVELS THO!
