This story depicted the relationship between a mortal and an immortal (or long living beings) so well. The tragic gap between their aging speeds, and the slow realization and panic when the mortal visibly starts growing older while the immortal stays exactly the same as before.
As a person who still hasnt come to terms with death (fear of death), this really brought me to tears realizing that I, too, will have to witness my loved ones growing older and pass away more and more as time passes.
Time is ruthless, it never waits. So, spend more time with those you care about. because one day, you will never be able to see them again in your life
