Orphans in an orphanage call each other siblings because they are raised as a family. Just like how foster children in a foster home will call each other siblings despite no legal or blood ties. It’s because they build familial bonds with each other. They are all orphans though.

Unless author wrote more, I just goy vol 4 in the mail, physical copy from 7seas but I don't want to unwrap it to check since it's for collection, but I remember seeing the raws and it had only 4 volumes plus sides that show new 'virus' spreading and more people becoming alphas and omegas
Don't mind me, I just dig through the internet, volume 5 is scheduled for December 2026. It probably wasn't published when I checked the raws few years ago and wgat I remember were sides but just as announcement for what's coming.
