I had been curious of how the story would unfold. There were some really interesting characters, but the MC had been annoying from the start. It's his second life and he's still going around like a dumbass.
In order to let this guy win, all others had to be dumbed down as well.

He knew the King was going to die. It was obvious that it was the empire. Preventing his death would have not kicked off the civil war in the first place. He didn't even bother asking the Duke to look out for the king. Not to mention, why would an assassination have to take place on the same exact date? Did his health restoring bracelet not have any impact on it? He banked the outcome of an entire war on it.
Waltermine was a decent character, and he's supposed to be smart. What reason did he have to recruit a small baron who's an enemy of a friend? Could have just hired spies to steal the crossbow.
MC already knows who the spies are, didn't bother to do anything about any of them. Instead went on war after war and killed every strong person of their kingdom. Why not just cause some trouble in the empire instead?
The Duke being negligent, the king being a slob, and MC being oblivious, every other noble just being greedy. At this point, they deserve to get taken over by the empire. The crossbows or the bombs, even MC's aura, anything slightly decent is all from the empire anyway, and even the people looked happy there. Even after a second chance, this kingdom is still garbage. Might as well surrender.
MC abusing slaves is kind of nasty too. For the 20 years they are supposed to be working, they haven't recieved any compensation so far. And he could afford to hire more workers or could have tried for some automation, but chose to grind them to their bones. The worst part in the beginning was destroying the dam gates saying "we'll build again" just for a show.
Crappy, stupid, oblivious, conceited, greedy and honor less behaviour from MC has been very consistent.
Other characters are mostly nice. His father is another person with head in clouds. What happened to all that honor and stuff he spoke about? He's okay with all this if it's beneficial.
Hey, easy there. Do you think if those strong men you talk about didn't died in war, they would gladly work by each other side? The civil war was unavoidable at that point.
Why won't he cause trouble in the empire, you ask? Do you even think of the might of empire's force? He can't possibly take on them alone. I won't bother pointed out another things because you don't seem capable to understand for other people standing
To clarify: wasn't trying to hate on it, but some things deserve to be called out.
Moving on, the civil war was unavoidable for 2 reasons : 1. The king dying, 2. The two princes being alive. Even if one of those things changed, the civil war would not have happened. If he could not save the king, he could have tried to kill one of the princes before it happened. It would prevent the civil war, also increase security for the king to investigate the prince's death. Of course his territory would still be facing wars due to all the stuff he pulled, but there's a possibility to delay territory wars for a while.
The strong people won't have to agree with him. If there's a war with empire, they will be forced to join.
As for causing trouble in the empire, it doesn't have to be overt. He already went there to steal some documents from the magician, it was kind of obvious that the magician stole them from some magic tower. (Have to praise the author for making these details noticable) He already blew up that place, all he needed to do was leave some evidence there so that magic tower would go hunting in the empire for the theif.
He's a rich guy who knew important players from both sides, it wouldn't be impossible to hire atleast a few spies to pull crap here and there.
The previous rant was not pointing at plot holes, rather at the MC's motivation or priorities. Simply put, the MC has no loyalty to his country and has no value for human life. Additionally, he's not even smart enough to make the best of his situation. This is kind of implied by the author from the beginning of the story.... So while I think the author might be capable of creating detailed stories, his/her choice of MC is meh.
Art good, plot is good. overall, it's a very well done hentai. If you're looking for one, you've found it. It's easily at the top of almost very such lists.
This might be the best manhwa I've read (at least it's running in top 5), and I've read almost every sorts I possibly could.
Good humor, good plot. The art takes 3-4 chapters to get used to, as it's not the same copy paste artwork as others, but the art did an excellent job in making the manhwa so funny.
It's been a long time since I've laughed as much.
I thought the manhwa scammed me... But all those manhwas it referred to were real. I guess I'll read those, now that I've lost all meaning in life after finishing this one.

What's with the translation? ( I'm currently at ch20) Why does every sentence have transcendence and its used quite liberally to mean whatever in each sentence.
I started the Manhua, couldn't wait and read the novel, found out about the live action, watched that, then realised Manhua completed and read that, found the anime and watched that, didn't know what else to do and re-read the Manhua...
I want more stories like this! Any suggestions? Already read the heaven official's blessing.

The saintess arc had good potential but was not done well. It's absurd that 1 single saintess (the bard) had enough magic power to rewind time for the entire world 20-30 times. Even if it was just a day.
The second nonsensical point is the Claris, throughout these 20-30 times she didn't care about anyone else in the entire school, not the bard who was her longtime friend, or Tanya her best friend now or even Janica who was right next to Ed, it was literally effortless to take Janica with them.
Not to mention didn't try to even issue a warning to evacuate people.
All the guards she had, sacrificed themselves for her, but she didn't spare single thought to them.
Divine power for sacrifice clashed with her divine protection, how did aspectual magic come out from that?

It's like the author deliberately wrote something crappy as a premise hoping to use an 'isekai' plot to fix the mess of the 'original story', but then got lazy and decided to just go with the crappy story instead.
It's an understatement to call it ridden with plot holes or nonsensical developments.
The Duke is a doormat, with no thoughts whatsoever.
The brother is a peice of crap who gave 0 thoughts to his supposed lover or son and took full advantage of the Duke with no remorse.
Astel is a self centred and entitled fool who didn't give any reassurances to the Duke even after they started dating, it's not like she couldn't have said 'he's like a brother'. Even after knowing fully well that the child's mother will die in the future, gave no shits about her, or tried to treat the kid until the last minute saying 'a day later, the kid would have died'. And every plot or event that happens is just so moronic that even plot armour can't fully mask.
Well, the only reason I could stick with it till the end is because there are no stupid villains who cause trouble for the sake of it (I guess I forgot the medical center director, but eh he's not much of a villain)
Also, credit where it's due, it's not a nasty harem, so there's some saving grace.
The fact that the empress trusts the adopted princess, and several other points make me want to believe that the author originally intended for the princess or someone else to save this story from the stupid plot line.
Well, I can only rate it for the crap that it currently is, rather than something moderately decent that I hoped it could have been.
Bad translation among other things. Read till ch20. It's average at best. Can't sit through the translation. Plot is about to start, so no idea.
